Nothing in this world is permanent - neither our suffering and nor our happiness. The material or illusory energy of the Lord have planned things in such a way that those who want to be away from God will always have a hope that after a hard struggle they can enjoy this world. So such people embark on a future plan believing that happiness for them in this world is just few notches away. And for those who are very inquisitive and who are aspiring to know the absolute truth understand that in this world nothing is permanent and happiness is flickering. So these people very easily give up any hope to enjoy this world and completely dedicate their life in looking for the means and ways to get out of this mortal material world. Krishna in Gita continuously says that there is a world beyond this material world where there is no suffering, no misery, where life is eternal and death is absent. He welcomes all to be part of that world. But if we continue to be caught up in this world hoping that things will become favorable and a day will come when everything will be as per our liking then it is not going to happen. So we should ask ourselves if it is worthwhile running after a mirage and ruining our life. Or better we should follow the teachings of Krishna and make our life perfect and simultaneously become eligible to become a part of the eternal spiritual world.
Those who are free from false prestige, illusion and false association, who understand the eternal, who are done with material lust, who are freed from the dualities of happiness and distress, and who, unbewildered, know how to surrender unto the Supreme Person attain to that eternal kingdom. (Bhagavad Gita 15.5).
